Installation Art
There are countless places where I can create installations and take photographs. I invite people to respond: filming, dancing, posing, and performing.
The material installation is one level of the work, and it is temporary. The second level is photography, which is documentation yet also constitutes a work of its own. With the spatial drawings, such as Ways, installation and photographs stand side-by-side as equal parts. Photography opens a new level of perception for the viewer; it offers interior views of spaces revealed only with the camera.
As in my works like Herzilein, these levels merge because the photos and objects are both part of a common installation.
